The UAMS College of Medicine Northwest Internal Medicine Residency Program is located in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and was established in 2015 as a new fully-accredited community-based program within the Department of Internal Medicine in the UAMS College of Medicine. Our program admits 10 residents each year. We are a categorical three-year internal medicine residency program, leading graduates to certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine.

- Match Registration opens and you can create your R3 account.
- You must register for both the NRMP and the application service or process required by the program.
- Standard Registration is available until January 31, 2025.

Feb 3, 2025 @ 12:00pm ET
- Ranking opens for applicants & programs.
March 5, 2025 @ 9:30am ET
- Rank Order List Certification Deadline for applicants and programs.
MATCH WEEK!
March 17, 2025
- 9:30am ET: Medical school Unmatched Applicants report available (embargoed until 10:00 a.m. ET)
- 10:00am ET: Applicant match status and program fill status available (by email and R3 system).
- 11:00am ET: SOAP applicants can start preparing applications in the application service or process required by the program. The application service required by the program will be listed on the SOAP List of Unfilled Programs.
March 20, 2025
- 8:00am ET: Medical school confidential Match results reports and Match notification letters available
- 9:00am ET: SOAP Rounds begin
- 9:00pm ET: SOAP ends with posting of final List of Unfilled Programs in the R3 system
March 21, 2025 – MATCH DAY!
- 12:00pm ET: Applicant Match results available (by email and R3 system)
Please note: We do not sponsor observerships or externships. To participate in clinical activities in this program (e.g., acting internships), it is our policy that a student be currently enrolled in an LCME-accredited medical school.
