Mrs. Megan White, M.Ed.
GME Program Coordinator
Originally from Pittsburg, PA , Megan has been coming to Arkansas her whole life to visit her grandparents. Arkansas has always been her home and is happy to finally live here.
She earned her Bachelors of Fine Arts in 2009 from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, AR. After graduation, she moved to Phoenix, AZ with her husband to peruse theatre and wound up finding her passion for education while working at a local high school. Theatre is still a big part of her life; she volunteers for the local Harry Potter Convention, Wizardly Way of the Ozarks, cosplays, musicals, and singing.
In 2015, she earned her Masters degree in higher and post secondary education, administration from Arizona State University and continues to build her skills and knowledge in the field. Being at UAMS NW, she now has the opportunity to turn her focus to medical administration and finds joy in helping new doctors find their path in medicine.
Megan is an aunt to three, rambunctious, boys and a fur mama to two dogs and one cat. In her free time, she enjoys playing video games, cross stitching, knitting, hanging out with her sister, and playing with her dogs. The Zelda series is her absolute favorite game and will talk about it if you ask her! She also loves Dr. Who, Marvel, Star Wars, Star Trek, and many other SiFi shows.
