COVID-19 Vaccination
COVID-19 vaccinations, including COVID-19 booster vaccinations, are required for employment at the UAMS Northwest Regional Campus and all of our partnering hospitals.
Welcome
The Internal Medicine Residency Program at the UAMS Northwest Regional Campus is located in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and was established in 2015 as a new fully-accredited community-based program within the Department of Internal Medicine in the UAMS College of Medicine. Our program admits 11 residents each year. We are a categorical three-year internal medicine residency program, leading graduates to certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Please note: We do not sponsor observerships or externships. To participate in clinical activities in this program (e.g., acting internships), it is our policy that a student be currently enrolled in an LCME-accredited medical school.
