This residency utilizes a 6+2 system to provide well-rounded and comprehensive clinical experiences.
Core Rotation Blocks and Electives (the 6) 2 to 4 week blocks

- Inpatient Wards
- Night Medicine (wards)
- Emergency Medicine
- Geriatrics
- Palliative Medicine
- Cardiology
- Gastroenterology
- Hematology/Oncology
- Rheumatology
- Nephrology
- Infectious Disease
- Endocrinology
- Neurology
Continuity Clinic (the +2)
- 2 weeks of outpatient internal medicine continuity clinic consisting of 8 half days a week
- includes: board review, simulation, POCUS, teaching skills curriculum, QI workshop, and research hour
Thursday afternoon dedicated outpatient didactics which include Simulation and POCUS training
Friday Afternoon, residents have off for self-study
