Meet our Experts and Educators

Cam Mosley, M.D.
Joel “Cam” Mosley, M.D.
Emergency Medicine Residency Program Director

Dr. Mosley is an associate professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at UAMS. He is board-certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine with clinical interests in dizziness, metacognition, and pediatric emergencies. Dr. Mosley earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in 2007. He completed his emergency medicine residency at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Baton Rouge. Dr. Mosley started at Washington Regional after residency and left to become Clerkship Director in the Emergency Medicine Residency Program at Louisiana State University-Baton Rouge. During this time, he was promoted to Assistant Program Director and won Faculty of the Year twice. In 2023, he returned to Northwest Arkansas to build the residency program here at UAMS / Washington Regional Medical Center. In his free time, he enjoys fly-fishing, Razorback sports, and going to the lake with his family.

Ryan Mantooth, M.D.

Emergency Medicine Residency Associate Program Director

Dr. Mantooth is a native of Fayetteville, Arkansas. He completed his undergraduate degree in biology at Union University. He earned his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2017. Dr. Mantooth completed an emergency medicine residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he was a chief resident and Bobby Lewis, M.D., Resident of the Year. He joined the Washington Regional Emergency Medicine team in 2020 where he is board-certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine and a Fellow of the Academy of Wilderness Medicine. He enjoys skiing, mountain biking and gravel racing, hunting, fishing, and horseback riding.

Lauren McCaslin, M.D.

Emergency Medicine Residency Core Faculty

Dr. McCaslin joined the Washington Regional Emergency Medicine team in 2016 as a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician. Originally from Paragould, Arkansas, Dr. McCaslin completed her bachelor’s degree with honors in Biochemistry with a minor in Biology at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville in 2009. She obtained her medical degree at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2013, and completed an Emergency Medicine residency at University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky in 2016. Dr. McCaslin returned to Fayetteville where she enjoys time with her husband and three boys.

Dr. Duong joined the Washington Regional Emergency Medicine team in 2014. Born and raised in Fort Smith, Arkansas, Dr. Duong earned his medical degree and completed his emergency medicine residency from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Dr. Duong is board-certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Duong interests include student mentoring and clinical teaching. Outside of medicine, he likes cooking, traveling and exploring the outdoors with his wife, children and golden retriever.

Dr. Green is a native of Edmond, Oklahoma. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Oklahoma. He received his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in 2011. Dr. Green completed his emergency medicine residency from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2014. Dr. Green is board-certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine and joined the Washington Regional Emergency Medicine team in 2014.

Jess Daniel, M.D.

Emergency Medicine Residency Core Faculty

Dr. Daniel is a native of Little Rock, Arkansas. He joined the Washington Regional Emergency Medicine team in 2011. He received his medical degree and completed his emergency medicine residency from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where he was selected as the Marvin Leibovich Resident of the Year. Dr. Daniel is board-certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. He currently holds the position of Service Chair for the Department of Emergency Medicine at Washington Regional Medical Center. He lives in Fayetteville with his wife and two kids and enjoys pickup basketball and outdoor adventures.

Stephanie Pereira, M.D.
Emergency Medicine Residency Core Faculty

Dr. Pereira joined the Washington Regional Emergency Medicine team in 2020. She obtained her medical degree in 2010 and completed her residency in Emergency Medicine in 2013, both at UAMS. She served as Emergency Medicine faculty at UAMS and then served as a staff emergency medicine physician at UAB Medical West in Alabama. Dr. Pereira is board-certified in emergency medicine.

Nhan “Marc” Phan, M.D.
Emergency Medicine Residency Core Faculty

Dr. Phan joined the Washington Regional Emergency Medicine team in 2024. He graduated from medical school in 2013 and then completed an Emergency Medicine residency and a Critical Care Fellowship, all at UAMS. He is board certified in emergency medicine and critical care medicine. Following the completion of his fellowship in 2019, Dr. Phan joined the faculty at UAMS and served as an Assistant Professor and the Assistant Program Director of the Critical Care Medicine fellowship program.
