
The Program
The UAMS Regional Centers Emergency Medicine Residency Program is located in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and was established in 2025 as a new community-based program through a partnership with UAMS and Washington Regional Medical Center. This emergency medicine residency program trains residents in clinical reasoning, critical thinking, teaching, research, and health care delivery to diverse and underserved populations in Northwest Arkansas and the surrounding regions.
The Mission
The mission of the UAMS Regional Centers Emergency Medicine Residency Program is to develop highly skilled, empathetic, professional, and resilient physicians who excel in the practice of emergency medicine. Our goal is to create an academic-quality emergency medicine program in a community setting.
