Jon Rubenow, D.O., is a longtime member of the UAMS faculty. Dr. Rubenow is medical director of PRI-Northwest and has been with the UAMS Psychiatric Research Institute since 2010. He treats students at the Northwest Arkansas Student Wellness clinic, is the medical director of the UAMS Northwest Arkansas Crisis Stabilization Unit, and sees patients at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. A graduate of Loyola University of Chicago, Dr. Rubenow graduated from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed residencies in Internal Medicine and General Psychiatry as well as a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Emory University School of Medicine. He is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry in General Psychiatry, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Addiction Psychiatry.
