Student Affairs

We are so glad that you have chosen to pursue your education in Northwest Arkansas! We are here to help you succeed. We work to help you balance school, life and enjoying your colleagues.

Our students have opportunities to interact with patients in the student-led interprofessional North Street Clinic, providing care to members of the local Marshallese community. We coordinate community outreach events that improve the lives of area residents through truly community-based health care.

Get Help When “Life Happens”

We all know that “life” can happen to any of us. UAMS Northwest has partnered with Hark NWA via their EAP+ program to provide you with our area’s most comprehensive and critical health and human services database, which connects you directly to resources. Hark can connect you to things like legal services, budget and financial counseling, mental health services, upskilling programs, and so much more.

As you prepare and train for a career in healthcare, please know that it is imperative to be well before you serve others. Please take advantage of this EAP+ program at the Hark EAP+ page linked below. You may also call 2-1-1 to speak to someone on the phone.
