
The Program
The UAMS Regional Centers Neurology Residency Program is located in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and was established in 2025 as a new community-based program through a partnership with UAMS and Washington Regional Medical Center. This Neurology residency program trains residents in clinical reasoning, critical thinking, teaching, research, and health care delivery to diverse and underserved populations in Northwest Arkansas and the surrounding regions.
The Mission
The Neurology Residency Program is committed to improving the health of our patients by providing high-quality neurologic treatment and comprehensive, evidence-based care through prevention, early detection, intervention, and education in the care of patients with neurologic disorders. The mission of this program is to develop highly skilled, empathetic, professional, and resilient physicians who excel in the practice of Neurology.
