Construction began on the new UAMS Health Orthopaedics & Sports Performance Center in Springdale in July 2025. The 84,389-square foot facility is slated to open in the spring of 2027.
Marlon Blackwell Architects is the lead architect for the project, and Nabholz Construction is the general contractor. The building will include six operating rooms, 10 inpatient rooms, six exams rooms, and spaces dedicated to sports performance and physical therapy.
We will post photos of the construction progress on this page periodically, so check back to see how things are going.

Here is a rendering of what the final building will look like.
