Faith Yam

Faith Yam is originally from Northern California. She has been practicing clinical mental health counseling for four years at different locations including: University of Arkansas Housing Department, University of Arkansas Counseling and Psychological Services, Ozark Guidance Center School-based services, UAMS Northwest Regional Campus Wellness Program and UAMS Northwest Regional Campus Employee Assistance Program. She is beginning to specialize in trauma-informed counseling, family systems theory and student wellness counseling. She loves relationship work and is open to working with parents and children. She did her research in mindfulness-based therapies.

Other than work, she and her partner work on Japanese Deport Model cars and often lose at fantasy football. She likes to write poetry and is obsessed with their two white pitbulls. She can cook Chinese food better than burgers and has a growing collection of potted plants.

She can see clients Monday 8-12 p.m., Wednesday and Friday 8-5 p.m. Other appointment times available by request.
